Those who know Eindhoven is also known as 'Lighttown' can guess the album title has something to do with that. The themes of the new album are close metaphors for the relationship Chris van der Linden, the band's frontman, has with the city. "Yes, I've moved. But its not that simple, of course," says Chris, "The title reflects the closure of an influential period of my life. The rest is up to the listener."
The new album will be released on the American netlabels Mine All Mine! Records and Wise Owl Records this April. After a year of songwriting, recording, and mixing, the new epic journey from Eindhovens' dark progressive act is finished. "We've chosen for an internet release because it generates a lot of exposure. We can't get this through a regular distribution deal as a starting band. Also, we have complete creative freedom which is very important to us." says Chris. "The album will also be available for purchase on CD for the fans."
Fourteen Twentysix is going strong and recently got in the news with discontinuing the international battle of the bands, Emergenza, after winning the first round. Due to dissatisfaction with the organisation, the band quit the contest but only after winning the first round with a record breaking 104 votes. The debut EP "Songs to Forget" got downloaded over 6,000 times collectively through Wise Owl and Mine All Mine! Records. "This made me want to do even better with Lighttown Closure. The new album is a lot more professional and we hope it shows."
On the new album, Chris got help from Jelle Goossens (from Androgene Collective) on guitar, and Tom van Nuenen from Clemm, A Staircase Transfer, on guitar and vocal coaching. "They helped me a lot, getting me through the long and tiresome process of writing and recording an album. Tom did some wonderful vocal coaching which people will notice I think."

cssc - A.M.
cssc's newest album, A.M., illustrates the seemingly impossible, yet ultimately rewarding process of an early morning awakening. His growth as an artist is apparent throughout the record, highlighted by more complex song structure, lush textures, and driving percussion.
